Every time I finish photographing a woman about to bring a new life into the world, I'm left with such a feeling of awe & respect for mothers and motherhood. Is there anything more soft, fierce, powerful and humble, all at once?
This is Elisha, the latest gorgeous Mum I was lucky enough to photograph. I knew from the first time she contacted me that we would get along. She's a special soul with an adorable family. We almost had to cancel because it rained, but in the end we went ahead and the sun gods shone down on us. I couldn't have asked for more and left with a very happy heart indeed.
