The closeness between two people who have made the momentous decision to bring a life into the world is palpable. One of my favourite parts of newborn sessions is capturing this connection.
I don’t know where to start to describe my session with this little family of three. It felt so intimate. Cara & Maea's joy at the arrival of their new little girl, Tahi was so obvious. They made me feel so relaxed and welcome in their home and I left my session with them thinking how lucky I was to have met them.

When I walked into my session Maea told me I had the best job in the world. I have to agree, and it’s people like Cara & Maea (and cute little people like Tahi) that make it that way.
